Pompeo: Aramco attack is a war action targeting the international economy

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo described the attack on Saudi oil facilities as an act of aggression against Saudi Arabia and the international economy. Attack, they are looking «reply options».

Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Adel bin Ahmed al-Jubeir said his country was considering different options to respond to the Aramco attack.

"The Kingdom is waiting for the results of the investigations to determine the location of the attack on Aramco," he said at a joint press conference with the UN Humanitarian Coordinator in Yemen on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.

"We have evidence that the weapons used in the attack on Aramco are Iranian."

"We are still consulting with our allies on the next step with regard to the attacks on Aramco," he said.

On Yemen, the Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs affirmed that "we are working on reconstruction in Yemen."

For his part, said the United Nations Assistant Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs in Yemen that «the organization is trying to deal with obstacles that prevent humanitarian access to Yemen».

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson called on Iranian President Hassan Rouhani to immediately release his countrymen held in Tehran.

A spokesman for the British Prime Minister said in a statement that Johnson's request came during his meeting in New York with Rouhani on the sidelines of the 74th session of the United Nations.

On the other hand, the British Prime Minister expressed deep concern about Iran's destabilizing activity in the region, which includes attacks on the facilities of Saudi Aramco (Saudi) oil, and stressed the need to stop it.
