Icon of the 1960s, Marianne Faithfull, 73, was hospitalized in London after being tested positive, her public relations agency said on Saturday that she is "in stable condition". The American jazzman Ellis Marsalis, patriarch of a family of big names in jazz, was killed on Wednesday by the Covid-19 at 85 years old.

Also died on March 24, the Cameroonian saxophonist Manu Dibango (86) and the American playwright Terrence McNally (81). American comedian Tom Hanks and his wife, actress and singer Rita Wilson, healed, returned to their home in Los Angeles after two weeks of quarantine in Australia.

French singers Patrick Bruel and CharlElie Couture announced Thursday that they are recovering from the coronavirus. The British actor Idris Elba, tested positive but asymptomatic, announced on Instagram on March 31 the end of his forties.

Politics: Patrick Devedjian, Boris Johnson, Prince Charles

Former French minister and figure of the right Patrick Devedjian died on the night of March 28-29. The former president of Congo-Brazzaville Jacques Joaquim Yhombi Opango, died Monday in France of the Covid-19 at 81 years old.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson, tested positive and still feverish, decided on Friday to extend his quarantine at Downing street. German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who had isolated herself at home after meeting a contaminated doctor, left quarantine on Friday after three negative tests.
