Police in Hong Kong use tear gas against demonstrators

Having given repeated warnings to the violent protestors in vain, Police officers have deployed tear gas and will use minimum necessary force to effect dispersal and arrest action.

According to the Associated Press, police used tear gas in the Qiong Wang area.

It is noted that in the city there were clashes with the police, as well as arson and other acts of vandalism were recorded. In one of the shopping centers, demonstrators staged mass riots.

Earlier it became known that the Hong Kong police detained 325 people for three days of protests, from November 1 to 3.

It was noted that during the riots 12 police officers were injured.
