Police confirm the picture of increased drug use

According to police, the youth who use drugs are getting younger, reports the Southeastern.

- We confirm the image that drug use is increasing among young people in Karlskrona. We do this through tips from the public and from our external staff, Tomas Pärlklo tells the magazine.

Increased accessibility may be one of the reasons for increased drug abuse.

To reduce drug use, the police also have contact with schools in the municipality.

- It's a scary development. We find that young people who use drugs become younger and younger. It is from twelve years onwards, says Katarina Johansson, municipal police in Karlskrona and Ronneby.
