Poland Approximately 180 local Japanese Return to Japan on a charter machine April 1 23:51

In Poland, where international scheduled flights have stopped due to the spread of the new coronavirus, approximately 180 local Japanese are expected to be able to return home on charter aircraft arranged by the Polish government.

As a countermeasure against the new coronavirus, international regular flights and international railway routes are halted in Poland, making it difficult for Japanese nationals to leave the country.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the adjustment has made it possible for the Polish government to return home on a charter aircraft arranged by the Polish government to return citizens staying in Japan.

There are about 180 local Japanese who want to return home.

The charter aircraft will be heading to Japan for two days local time.
