Despite subsequent discussions, the coffin was left open last winter.

It was non-profit forces that started work on the coffin, but now the municipality is responsible for all the work.

- The sense was that the municipality would do this last year really. Then they suddenly decided that it would be too expensive. Then we grabbed it ourselves, says Pelle Lindqvist (L), who was involved in the construction of the coffin.

A temporary solution

Three politicians and six hockey volunteers volunteered to mount the coffin in January last year.

- We wanted to show that it went and that's why we did it, says Lindqvist.

But the coffin is only a temporary solution. Now the construction of a new plan is planned right next to it, which will stand there permanently. Hopefully it will come up next winter.
