A small six-girl died in the run-off. Trailer driver was arrested.

On the evening of the 8th, a 6th grade girl was hit by a large trailer and died at an intersection in Sakai City, Osaka. On the morning of the 9th, the police arrested the trailer driver who ran away from the site on the suspicion of running away and investigated the detailed situation.

After 5:00 pm on the 8th, at the intersection of Osaka and Sakai City, it was found that a 6th grade elementary school student Hiromi Matsuda (11) had fallen and was transported to the hospital but died.

The police were investigating the whereabouts of the trailer that ran away from the site, assuming that Matsuda-san was hit by a large trailer turning left when he crossed the pedestrian crossing at the intersection based on sighting information on the site.

Later, a similar trailer stopped at the ferry terminal in Suminoe-ku, Osaka. After hearing the circumstances from driver Tatsuya Kamei (34), a driver in Niihama City, Ehime Prefecture, he was arrested on suspicion of running away at around 4 am on the 9th because he found the charges.

The police are investigating the situation of running away from the scene.
