The Health Insurance Policy Review Committee, the highest resolution of health insurance policy, held a dinner meeting yesterday (22th) and decided to raise the health insurance premium by 3.2% next year.

Workers' premium rate is 6.67% from the current 6.46%, and the amount of points paid by local members will be raised from the current 189.7 won to 195.8 won.

As a result, the health insurance premiums for those who work for 11,635 won this year will rise to 11,618 won.

The household's average premium for local subscribers will be raised from 897,678 won to 898,867 won.

The Ministry of Health and Welfare presented a 3.49% increase in the first National Health Insurance Comprehensive Plan.

The final increase of 3.2% is slightly lower than the government proposed increase.

Member organizations have insisted on paying 24 trillion won in government aid that the government has not paid for the past 13 years and freezing or raising the premium.

Earlier, the Health Insurance Policy Review Committee held in June has delayed deliberations by member organizations.

It was passed after the marathon.

The government has decided to raise premiums and secure more than 14% of health insurance support next year.

The health insurance policy deliberation yesterday also decided to expand the coverage of the health insurance coverage of male genital ultrasound, including the prostate, starting next month.
