Fireworks display at Lake Suwa Nagano As scheduled, about 460,000 people will be packed on August 15 at 23:33

The “Lake on the Lake Fireworks” was held on the 15th night at Lake Suwa in Nagano Prefecture, where over 40,000 fireworks colored the night sky, and about 460,000 people enjoyed it.

In Suwa Lake, Nagano Prefecture, a fireworks display has been held every year since 1949 in hopes of recovery from the war.

On the night of the 15th, Typhoon No. 10 approached, and it was unfortunately the weather was raining occasionally, but it was held as planned.

About 460,000 people were packed in the venue, and the fantastic scenery with 40,000 colorful fireworks weaving was enjoyed.

And when the fireworks called “Water Star Mine” spreading like a fan on the lake at the end and the fireworks “Large Niagara Distribution” covering a total length of about 2 km were shown, a big cheer was raised.

A 71-year-old woman from Ibaraki Prefecture said, “I heard that the typhoon was approaching and half of it gave up, but I enjoyed the best fireworks.”

A 28-year-old man from Tokyo, who was a couple, said, “I was worried that it would be a heavy rain due to a typhoon, but I was able to see it safely.
