His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, stressed that improving people's lives and ensuring better future opportunities for future generations requires the development and modernization of concepts and tools of government action and follow-up of its results, and find solutions to the challenges of the present and prepare for future variables.

His Highness said that the UAE is keen to build and strengthen partnerships and exchange knowledge on the modalities of modernizing the work of governments and improving the reality of peoples, with countries keen to improve the lives of their people and with all international organizations, international institutions and private sector leaders who share with us the same development visions.

This came during a briefing by HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and HH Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai on the developments of the strategic partnership agreement in government modernization between the UAE and the Republic of Uzbekistan. The committee reviewed the joint committee to activate the partnership agreement between the two countries, chaired by Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Future Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, and the Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sardor Omurzakov.

HH the Deputy Prime Minister and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai praised the partnership between the UAE and the Republic of Uzbekistan in all fields, especially in the exchange of expertise, experience and knowledge to modernize and strengthen the government work, and praised the efforts of the team and what has been achieved. To ensure the achievement of the best results and contribute to advancing government action.

The meeting was attended by HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, Minister of State for Happiness and Quality of Life, Director General of the Prime Minister's Office at the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs and Future, Ohood Bint Khalfan Al Roumi, and a number of government officials from the UAE. The partnership between the two countries includes the organization of a series of training initiatives and workshops within 19 themes, and the launch of 120 specific initiatives, in the areas of exchange of knowledge, experiences and development models in government work, and the application of best practices in government services and smart services and institutional performance, innovation and excellence, and building leadership and capacity.

The partnership covers the formation of working groups and experts to support initiatives in the areas of government accelerators, government quality, government services, smart applications, national strategy and plans, government performance and innovation, leadership programs, programming, the future of education and the economy, global competitiveness and ease of doing business and other vital sectors.
