The explosion in an apartment building in Magnitogorsk occurred due to disruption in the operation of gas equipment, the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Emergencies reports.
“According to preliminary information, from the violation of the rules for operating gas equipment, gas popped with subsequent ignition in the apartment on the second floor,” the message said.
The incident occurred on Domenshchikov Street. As a result, two people were killed, 31 were saved.
