Lukashenko expressed condolences over the death of Zakharov

“Accept my deep condolences in connection with the death of the People's Artist of the USSR Mark Anatolyevich Zakharov, a truly outstanding personality of our time. An infinitely talented director, brilliant actor and screenwriter, ”the president said.

Along with this, Lukashenko called Zakharov’s life and work “an era in the history of modern theater and cinema”.

Zakharov died on September 28 in Moscow at the 86th year of his life from pneumonia.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, Soviet and Russian theater and film actress, Honored Artist of Russia Anna Frolovtseva, music producer Joseph Prigozhin, People's Artist of the RSFSR Larisa Golubkina and many others expressed their condolences on his passing.
