In his message, Lukashenko noted that Putin’s “consistent efforts, tremendous work and dedication” lie at the heart of Russia's successes in building a powerful and independent power.

It is noted that the Belarusian leader in his congratulations expressed confidence in the further development of the economy of Belarus and Russia, the growth of the well-being of citizens, ensuring security and stability in the Eurasian space as a result of "deepening the integration" of the two countries.

Lukashenko also wished the Russian leader good health, kindness, support for like-minded people and success in implementing the plans.

Earlier, Armenian President Armen Sargsyan and Moldavian leader Igor Dodon congratulated Putin on his birthday.

On October 4, Russian President’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov announced that Putin would spend his birthday on October 7 in the company of friends and relatives. Putin will turn 67 years old in 2019.
