Toronto was on a receipt in the final stage of the third period when Pär Lindholm stayed ahead of Boston's punctured match. He won an important draw in his own zone before Boston changed lightning fast. Sean Kuraly finished and on the return Lindholm showed up and put it 4-2 and the match was decided.

Toronto chose to offer Lindholm a contract for last year's season, but in February he was signed to Winnipeg. Then the trip continued to Boston during the summer.

In addition to Lindholm's goals, it was a lot about Boston's dreaded first chain. David Pastrnak opened the goal line at the end of the first period, assisted by Brad Marchand. In the second period there were switched roles where Marchand led Pastrnak to 2-1. In addition, the latter offered a real art number but the target was sentenced for offside.

nightmare opponent

Toronto won the rivalry last week by 4-3 after an extension, but Boston has become something of a nightmare opponent for Toronto. Two years in a row, the team has been eliminated in the first round of the playoffs, both times by Boston and both times in the seventh and decisive match.

Boston is currently the NHL's third-best team in 16 points scored.
