Leksand is second to last in SHL and is in great need of points to get up to safe ground. In the home game against Djurgården, the newcomer got a nightmare start. It wasn't even possible two minutes before Tom Nilsson overpowered Leksands goalkeeper Janne Juvonen with a shot against the first post.

Just over six minutes later, Tom Nilsson fired a shot from offensive blue that Juvonen unluckily dropped. That was what Djurgården's Manuel Ågren took advantage of and could shave 2-0 in the open goal. When Dick Axelsson was completely unmarked after 13 minutes, Janne Juvonen was substituted 13 minutes into the game.

"Too comfortable"

Instead, Axel Brage came in - but that didn't help. With just under three minutes to break, Sebastian Strandberg put 4–0 as Djurgården used a three to one position.

In the third period Mattias Ritola and Mattias Karlsson were able to reduce, but closer than ever Leksand never came. Djurgården eventually won by 4–2 and took their third straight victory.

- We are fighting and want to end the match in a good way. In the last two periods we do well and we have to take it to the next match. This is the first period that ruins the match for us. It's difficult when we end up in a 0-4 sub-position, "Leksand's coach Roger Melin tells C More.
