Among the characters she plays, there is Melanie, a colorful woman from the south, a "cagole". It is an inexhaustible source of inspiration for comedians but it is the first time that you will be able to see a remake of Titanic, cagole version.

These characters are not created by chance, they are all part of Laura, even Melanie the cagole: " It's a mix of my village grocer, my mother and my father too. my father in Melanie and also a mixture of who I am and what I would be if I had stayed in the south, I would love to be Melanie because she has a serious character that I do not have . .. "says Laura Calu at the microphone of Europe 1.

The humorist stands out for his commitment. All his characters are used to convey messages, whether on feminism, virility, the dictates of beauty or especially on self-confidence. Thanks to the most touching and clever character of the show: the little Laura who dialogues with the Laura who has become an adult.

Real passionate, Laura Calu confides on this desire to go on stage at any price: " Since I was little, I want to do that, I never changed my mind, I always wanted to be where I am today and I intend to hang on to it because it's my life, it's vital, even if one day we do not talk about me anymore, even if it's not working as well as today, I'll continue. I will make small scenes, I will continue to write sketches and I will hang on, like the old singers who never give up and who do not leave room for young people, I think that unfortunately, I will be part of these people (laughs) "
