The Korea Sports Association will attend the Tokyo Olympics general meeting in Japan from today (20th) and will focus on the Dokdo labeling and radiological issues.

The delegation meeting is a place where delegates from around the world gather to check with the Tokyo Olympic Organizing Committee a year before the Olympic Games.

Separately, our delegation will strongly demand that the Dokdo notation on the Tokyo Olympics official website be removed as soon as possible.

I plan to focus on radioactive issues.

In relation to the supply of Fukushima food ingredients and the radioactive contamination of the venue, the Korea Sports Association will urge the IOC and the Organizing Committee to verify the objectives of international organizations.

We plan to cooperate with other participating countries in that radiation is directly related to the safety of Korean athletes as well as Korean athletes.

North Korea, which was due to attend the meeting, has suddenly announced its absence.
