The head of Parliament, Juan Guaidó, recognized as interim president of Venezuela for more than 50 countries, announced on Wednesday the creation of a "government center" that will coordinate all the representatives he has appointed in his administration and will be in charge of the opponent Leopoldo López.

"For the creation of the government center we have appointed Leopoldo López," Guaidó said in a press conference in which he reported on the appointment of the exiled deputy in Colombia, Julio Borges , as presidential commissioner for foreign relations.

The opposition leader also appointed lawyer Humberto Prado as presidential commissioner for human rights and victim assistance, engineer Alejandro Plaz for Economic Development, and lawyer Javier Troconis for asset management and recovery.
