JR Tokaido Line descent resumed operation 18:54 on October 18
The JR Tokaido Line's down line had been put off between Tokyo Station and Atami Station due to a personal accident that occurred at Otsuchi Station, but resumed operation at around 8:10 am. However, since they were restarted using freight train tracks, passengers could not get on and off between Chigasaki Station and Kamomiya Station in Kanagawa Prefecture.
