JAL Passenger Airplane Returned by Lightning Immediately after Takeoff Sendai Airport August 8 at 21:02

On the evening of the 8th, a Japanese airliner that departed from Sendai for Sapporo received a lightning strike about 20 minutes after taking off from Sendai Airport and returned to the airport. According to Japan Airlines, no one injured 80 passengers.

According to Japan Airlines, at around 5:30 pm on the 8th, the pilot of flight JAL2907 reported that a lightning hit the front of the aircraft.

This flight took off from Sendai Airport at around 5: 5 pm and headed for Sapporo, but to confirm safety, I returned to Sendai Airport and landed before 6:00 pm.

According to Japan Airlines, nobody injured 80 people including 76 passengers and 4 crew members.

All the passengers got out of the cabin and were waiting in the airport lobby, but according to Japan Airlines, they prepared another aircraft and planned to take off at 9:20 pm.
