Deaths in Italy with coronaviruses today reached 20,465, with 566 registered in the last 24 hours , a figure much higher than the 431 on Sunday, which was the lowest in the last three weeks.
The total number of infections stood at 159,516 people , representing an increase of 3,153 in the last day , confirming the trend of reduction of infections in recent days, according to data offered today by the head of Civil Protection, Angelo Borrelli , in your daily newsletter.
The number of people currently positive for coronavirus tests in Italy is 103,616 , with an increase of 1,363 compared to Sunday, less than in previous days. Of these, 72.33 are isolated at home with mild symptoms (70% of the total) 28,023 admitted to hospitals and 3,260 in intensive care .
