"The position taken by Noël Le Graët differentiating between homophobia and racism is wrong," said Tuesday the Minister of Sports Roxana Maracineanu, in response to the words of the President of the French Football Federation on homophobia.
In the morning, interviewed by France Info, Christmas Graët had considered that racism in the stadiums and homophobia in the stands, "it's not the same thing," asking referees not to stop matches in case of protests homophobic in the stadiums.
