The army press service announced this on its Twitter page.
“One rocket was launched from the Gaza Strip on Israeli territory,” the statement said.
The Israeli military added that this is the fourth missile fired from the Gaza Strip over Israel in a week.
Earlier, Israeli aircraft attacked several Hamas positions in the Gaza Strip after rocket attacks were launched towards Israel.
