Investigations with members of the Muslim Brotherhood cell deported from Kuwait to Egypt revealed serious information, most notably that they ran a “money transfer network”, admitted that “Kuwaiti figures supporting their movements” and that they entered Kuwait with “false passports”.

According to «Al Rai Kuwait», Egyptian security sources said that after the decision of the Supreme State Security Prosecutor in Cairo, the evening of yesterday, to imprison cell members for 15 days pending investigations into accusing them of joining a group established contrary to the provisions of the law and the Constitution, «the eight defendants were deported to Lehman Tora, a high security guard, south of Cairo », a prison in the Tora Prison Complex.

The sources added that preliminary investigations revealed a "network to transfer funds, between Kuwait and Egypt through other countries, managed by a number of suspects arrested, with the help of other elements inside and outside Kuwait."

She stressed that «members of the cell admitted in the investigations, that personalities in the Kuwaiti society support their movements», noting that «the concerned authorities will keep quiet about the details at the present time for several reasons, and until the investigations are completed».

According to the sources, interrogations also revealed that the cell members "confessed that they entered Kuwait with forged passports, before being listed on INTERPOL's lists."

She pointed out that «Cairo is in the process of informing the Kuwaiti authorities, in the coming period, other names required, revealed by the investigations», stressing that «Kuwait is following the progress of investigations with members of the cell in Cairo».

The sources said that «Cairo has information that a number of members of the (Brotherhood) left Kuwait after the arrest of members of the cell, to countries near Kuwait».

She pointed out that Cairo «demanded several Arab capitals to follow the example of Kuwait in the handover of elements (brothers) fugitive», pointing out in this context that «the Egyptian authorities may receive Brotherhood elements and Daesh from the Libyan army, during the next few days, had been arrested during the Tripoli battles.
