Installation of technological equipment of the launch complex for the Angara rocket begins on December 15 at Vostochny Cosmodrome. This was announced by the Deputy Director General of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Center for the Operation of Terrestrial Space Infrastructure Facilities” (TsENKI) on the creation of the Vostochny Cosmodrome Sergey Kostarev.
“Today is a momentous event at the cosmodrome. Today is the beginning of the installation of technological equipment of the launch complex, ”TASS quoted him as saying.
Kostarev said that the technological equipment for the construction of the cosmodrome line will be transferred in 2021.
In November, it became known that Roscosmos would replace Proton launch vehicles with Angara heavy rockets in 2024, and their mass production will be launched in 2023.
