The affair dates back to Tuesday morning, around 6:15 a.m., at the exit of the Reynerie metro station in Toulouse. An emergency police patrol calls two young men in possession of a "Prévert-style inventory": bikes, telephones, car radios, glasses, wallet, tooling material, pétanque balls, etc.

After using images from video surveillance cameras, in particular from the Tisséo network, investigators from the brigade for the suppression of property damage (Brab) make the link with 18 thefts or attempted robbery with a trailer. The latter took place during the night of Monday to Tuesday in Blagnac, in the sector of the road to Granada, where six bicycles were also stolen from the garden of a property.

Probable accomplices

According to police sources, the duo, probably with accomplices given the load (and the bikes), would have taken the tram to the Déodat-de-Séverac station, before recovering a trash can to transport their booty. He would then have taken the tram back to Arènes, then the metro to Reynerie station, the end of the journey.

A 15-year-old boy and a 23-year-old boy were taken into custody for concealment. At the end of this crazy night, the objects (and the bikes) could be returned to their owner.
