“Police officers in Aleksin installed and detained a driver who hit three people who were traveling in wheelchairs along the side of the road and who hid from the scene of an accident. All three wheelchairs are members of the Russian Paralympic team. They received various injuries and sought medical help, ”the statement said.
It is noted that the 39-year-old local resident was suspected of having committed an accident. He was found by his lost car license plate, which was discovered at the scene. It is specified that the detainee was previously deprived of a driver’s license.
