“A criminal case has been opened against the inspector for minors of the department of district police officers and minors of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Bagaevsky District of the Rostov Region. He is suspected of committing crimes under Part 1 of Art. 228 of the Criminal Code of Russia (“Illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs”), paragraph “c” of part 3 of article 286 of the Criminal Code of Russia (“Exceeding official authority”), ”the statement said.

According to the investigation, the police officer hid a narcotic drug on the territory of the household of one of the residents of the Bagaevsky district.

Subsequently, as a result of the search, the “planted one” was seized, and a criminal case for drug trafficking was opened against the landlord.

The victim turned to the investigators, during the inspection they identified a crime.

Earlier, in the Serpukhov district of the Moscow region, the largest drug laboratory in recent years was liquidated.

In September, Russian Minister of the Interior Vladimir Kolokoltsev said that about 100 drug laboratories were eliminated in Russia since the beginning of the year.
