On Thursday, Chinese phone giant Huawei confirmed that his next smartphone would not have the Google suite due to US sanctions.

Chinese phone giant Huawei confirmed Thursday in Munich that its latest high-end smartphone, the first to be hit by US sanctions, would not offer pre-installed Google services.

"Because of the US ban on some phones, the Google suite (Google Mobile Service) can not be pre-installed and we are proposing the Huawei Suite (Huawei Mobile Service)," Richard Yu said on boss of Huawei Consummer, the mainstream branch of the Chinese giant, thus ending a suspense of several weeks.
