“More than 1,500 tickets were sold in five hours for passenger trains from mainland Russia to the Crimean peninsula and vice versa,” the Moscow Service press service quoted Grand Service Express (GSE) as saying.

It is noted that the first purchase of a train ticket from a city on the Neva to Sevastopol was recorded at 8:01. The passenger purchased it in the carrier’s mobile application.

Sales opened on November 8 at 8:00 Moscow time.

Earlier, "New Sevastopol" reported that two hours after the start of sales 32 tickets were bought for trains that will run through the Kerch Strait.
