According to the statistics of the department, from January to September 2019, 10.3 thousand crimes qualified under Art. 159.3 of the Criminal Code (“Fraud using electronic means of payment”).
This is 417.3% more than the same period last year.
In total, over 205 thousand crimes committed using information and telecommunication technologies were registered in Russia over the indicated period, which is 69% more than last year.
