This was reported by the city’s police on its Facebook page.

“At one of the public transport stops in the Central City District, a conflict occurred between men, during which one of them used an object similar to the RGD-5 grenade, as a result of which a citizen born in 1987 was injured,” the statement reads.

It is noted that the victim was taken to hospital.

Upon the incident, information was entered into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations under the article “attempted murder” of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Earlier, law enforcement officers in Kiev detained a man who was carrying a grenade in his bag as a “souvenir”. About a week later, the police caught another man with a grenade already on one of the streets of Rivne.

In mid-May in the Luhansk region, a man blew up a grenade at a bank branch, as a result of which six people were injured, including a police officer. A couple of days after that, already in Kharkov, an unknown person blew up a grenade near one of the residential buildings of the city. The explosion killed two people.

Also on May 26, in the Odessa region, an unknown person threw a grenade into the courtyard of a private house. The blast damaged the windows of the house and the car.
