Lawyer Samir Sabri submitted a communication to the Attorney General in Egypt and demanded that the star of the Algerian team and Manchester City club Riyad Mehrez be included in the lists of those banned from entering Egypt because of the "contempt" of the Egyptian Prime Minister.

According to local media reports, Sabri said in his communique that Mehrez ignored Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Medbouli during the medals ceremony after Algeria won the African Nations Cup final on Friday.

The famous lawyer, who made his earlier statements against artists and well-known personalities, chose to invest in a shot that sparked controversy across the media.

During the medal ceremony, he stopped at peace with the interim Algerian president and did not complete the peace for the rest of the audience, including Egyptian Prime Minister and Senegalese President Maki Sal.

It was clear that Mehrez was in a hurry to receive the African Cup of Nations from African Football Confederation President Ahmed Ahmed before transferring it to his teammates to celebrate the title that the Algerians waited for nearly 30 years.
