Health Minister Agnès Buzyn announced Tuesday that she would do a "tour of France hospitals", after the vote of the Social Security budget for 2020, to verify the application of the "emergency plan" unveiled the last week in response to eight months of crisis.

Budget increase of 1.5 billion euros and recovery of 10 billion euros of debt spread over three years, premiums for staff ... Various measures were announced last week to allow "hospitals to invest in once again "and" revalorize "the" professions "of those who practice there, recalled Agnes Buzyn in the National Assembly.

"The work started with the federations (hospitals) and with the actors on the ground made it possible to make concrete, pragmatic announcements, which corresponded" to the "request" of health professionals suffering from a "feeling of abandonment", has said the minister, who was answering a question from MP MoDem Cyrille Isaac-Sibille.

"I am waiting for the vote on the PLFSS (Social Security Financing Bill)" under consideration in Parliament, "and I will be doing a tour of France of hospitals to verify that each hospital finds the benefits of the measures that come to be taken, "promised Ms. Buzyn.

"The reform that we presented last year, + My Health 2022+, goes in the right direction, and the professionals adhere to it but, we know, they will take time to bear fruit and we must imperatively allow" hospital professionals "to project themselves into the future," she said.

Prime Minister Édouard Philippe and Agnès Buzyn presented last week a plan to respond to the unprecedented emergency services strike that began in March and extended to all hospital personnel who have demonstrated in thousands throughout France November 14th.
