Here 111 new rental properties are being built in Eskilstuna

On Wednesday afternoon, the first pavement was taken for the construction of the housing on Knut Hellbergsgatan 23.

- It should be ready by 2021 in August or September. The rents have not been negotiated yet, it will be done with the tenants' association, says Henrik Sjölund, head of building and property development at Eskilstuna Kommunfastigheter.

What is being built are apartments with 2-4 rooms, including 3.5s.

- 90 percent of what is being built is twos and threes. We have followed demand in previous projects and have made the assessment that this is what the wishes look like for the residents who are looking for housing in the area, says Henrik Sjölund.
