“Hubert Fayyar, Honorary Representative of the Donetsk People’s Republic, was released on September 20 after more than five months in prison,” the Fayyar’s representative quoted TASS as saying.
It is noted that the arrest of the head of the representative office of the DPR in Marseille was carried out on the basis of slanderous accusations.
The representative also clarified that the center is coordinating humanitarian assistance, student exchanges, disseminating information about the life of the DPR.
On February 11, the Ukrainian Embassy sent a note of protest to the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in connection with the opening on February 9 in Verona of a representative office of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).
