The Secretary-General of the Football Association, Muhammad Hazam Al-Dhaheri, announced that the first meeting of the Football Association’s Transitional Committee, which was held today Sunday at the Federation’s headquarters in Dubai, during which tasks and positions were distributed among members of the Committee after it was finally elected by the General Assembly of the Federation, indicating that Abdullah Al-Junaibi was named Deputy Chairman of the Committee and Ali Hamad as Chairman of the Referees Committee.

Bin Hazzam said in a press conference after the meeting, "Both Ghanem Al-Hajri was appointed as the head of the Technical Affairs and Elections Committee, Ali Hamad and Issa Mir were vice-chairmen of the committee, while Hisham Al-Zarouni was appointed as the head of the Finance Committee, Amal Bushalakh as the head of the Communication and Community Affairs Committee, Hamid Al-Tayer as the head of the Competitions Committee and Aisha Al-Tunaiji. Chairman of the Status and Transfers Committee, Ahmed bin Darwish, Chairman of the Development Committee for First Class Clubs, and Khalfan Balhoul, Chairman of the Marketing and Investment Committee.

The Secretary-General of the Football Association indicated that the members of the various committee will be named within a week, pointing out that, according to the decision of the transitional committee in the federation, the national team coach file has been transferred to the Technical Affairs and Teams Committee to study and choose the coach within a week.

For his part, Chairman of the Referees Committee Ali Hamad confirmed in press statements that they are seeking during the coming period to achieve the aspirations of the sports street, stressing that arbitration is one of the important elements in the system and work to overcome errors and development for the best, indicating that they are preparing the sports street that they are doing their best in the coming period .
