Africa and the coronavirus: a solid challenge for international cooperation

The world has entered a health war. While the Covid-19 crisis is crumbling the economies of developed countries, it confronts the governments of many African countries with a dilemma that is complicated to say the least.

The continent is already very indebted, but requires external aid. The response of the rich countries will influence its relations with Africa for decades to come. African countries will remember who helped them.
