After two and a half months of absence, Gabonese President Ali Bongo returned from Morocco, where he had been recuperating for several weeks. His plane landed at Libreville airport in the night. This Tuesday morning was the swearing-in ceremony of the new ministers. Benefit before the Head of State, for whom it was therefore the first public release since his hospitalization.

The ceremony lasted less than an hour . It was in the ceremonial hall of the presidential palace on the second floor. Only the official press had access to the room. The other journalists were on the ground floor, in a room where no image of the ceremony was broadcast.

At the end of the ceremony, Prime Minister Julien Nkoghe Bekalé told reporters that the ceremony went very well. The President of the Republic Ali Bongo Ondimba is still convalescent, but in full recovery.

" It is a boil of relief for the Gabonese economy that it is among us. I ask economic operators to be reassured. The President of the Republic and the Prime Minister are at the helm of the country ", for its part exulted the Minister of Economy Jean-Marie Ogandaga. " We had the excitement of having him with us, " said Minister Francis Nkéa.

It remains to be seen whether President Ali Bongo will stay in Libreville or whether he will return to Morocco to peacefully follow his convalescence.
