In Paris, the strike movement extends into the emergency services. Started a month ago at the hospital Saint-Antoine, following an attack, he now touches a dozen hospitals in Paris. The emergency personnel believe that the proposals of the Public Assistance-Hospitals of Paris (AP-HP) are insufficient. And their strike could win the rest of the French territory.

In more than ten hospitals in Paris, the strike "plaster" extends. Emergency room staff continue to greet patients while wearing bandages, banners, and signing petitions to families.

The Paris Public Hospitals Department offered them 61 posts. Christophe Prudhomme, CGT representative of the emergency services, believes that it is very far from the account.

" There is a shortage of 700 posts in the emergency services of Public Assistance today in Paris , insists the union representative . The discontent goes well beyond the emergency services, it also aims the plan to remove 5,000 jobs in hospitals within 5 years or closure of 2/3 of geriatric beds. Christophe Prudhomme expects that health is a theme addressed by the President of the Republic next Thursday.
