France, Germany and the United Kingdom blamed Iran on Monday for the attack on September 14 against two of the main refineries in Saudi Arabia and showed their support for ongoing investigations to learn the details of these attacks.

"It is clear to us the responsibility of Iran for this attack. There is no other plausible explanation. We support the ongoing investigations to establish more details," said French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and British Prime Minister , Boris Johnson in a joint statement.

The attack was claimed by the Houthi rebels of Yemen, backed by Iran, while Tehran has denied any responsibility. EFE
