In January, Cardiff and Nantes agreed that the French club would sell its striker Emiliano Salah to the Waels. The transition price would land at £ 15 million (about SEK 185.5 million), but when Sala tragically perished in an air crash, Fifa decided that Cardiff would only have to pay the first transfer of approx. SEK 60 million.

Cardiff and Nantes have previously been in dispute over the money for Sala, which Cardiff has not wanted to pay since they believe the contract points were not met because of Sala's death. The club has also said they are prepared to go to Cas to decide the case, Reuters reports.

Now Fifa announces that if you do not pay Nantes within 45 days after receiving the bank details, the club will be penalized with a transfer ban until they pay, however, a maximum of three years.
