“Any sanctions are bad, but for us this is no longer news or a problem. We predictably understand what these sanctions will be. Renew - so be it. With all our disagreement with the sanctions policy, we understand that we will have to live with these sanctions, nothing new is happening for us in this situation, ”Morozov explained.

Commenting on the statement of the former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, who also announced the extension of EU sanctions, the senator noted that the politician has few reasons for joy today, therefore, as Morozov emphasized, “let him at least be happy about this.”

Earlier, RIA Novosti, citing a source in EU structures, reported that EU Permanent Representatives agreed on a six-month extension of sanctions against Russia.

Later, Poroshenko also said that the EU agreed to extend sanctions against Russia.
