"The sanitary and epidemiological situation in the flooded areas is stable, the levels of infectious morbidity are within the average long-term values," the statement says.
It clarifies that the agency continues active advocacy for the prevention of infectious diseases.
“Evaluation and immunization of the population in the flooded area has been completed,” Rospotrebnadzor stressed.
According to the ministry, in the areas freed from flooding, work is underway to disinfect water supply networks, as well as food industry enterprises and trade, educational and medical organizations.
On August 1, the Emergencies Ministry announced the number of flooded settlements in the Irkutsk region.
