Restrictions on entry of travelers from Japan: 164 countries and regions.
According to a summary by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ethiopia, Brunei, and Malawi have been added to 164 countries and territories with restrictions on immigration from Japan. In addition, there are 74 countries and regions, such as the United States, that have set restrictions on behavior such as requiring mandatory isolation at designated locations for a certain period even if they can enter the country, and have requested voluntary health observation.
