Emirates Post, in collaboration with Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Center, is issuing a set of commemorative stamps today to celebrate the first mission of the Emirates Astronaut Program, which will see the launch of Hazza Al Mansouri, the first Emirati astronaut to the International Space Station. This comes 55 years after the late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum issued a commemorative stamp for the first American astronauts' journey to outer space under the slogan: "Honoring the astronauts."

The collection of commemorative stamps consisted of six designs, including photographs of the astronaut Hazza Al Mansouri, alternative astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi, as well as the Soyuz MS spacecraft, the International Space Station, and the September 25 mission slogan, “Tomouh Zayed”, which shows a drawing. The late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, titled “Zayed's ambition”.
