Johan has 25 years of experience in the telecommunications and Internet sector and began his career at Telia Telecom in Scandinavia, Brazil and Sri Lanka, before being appointed as Executive Vice President of Telenor Telecom in his native Sweden. Johan then went to Malaysia, where he was first appointed chief financial officer and then CEO of Digi Telecom, part of Telenor Group. After six years with Digi, he moved to Vodafone and Vodacom, overseeing seven separate businesses in Africa. It owns one of the largest Internet companies in the world, with an estimated revenue of 8 billion euros, and services in 7 countries.
