Dubai Air Navigation Services (DANZ), the air traffic control agency at Dubai airports and the northern regions, has renewed a two-year cooperation agreement with Britain's Circo Limited.
The agreement was signed by HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Air Navigation Services, Chief Executive Officer of Emirates and Group, and CEO of Circo Middle East Phil Malm.
This agreement will contribute to the continuous improvement of the levels of service provided by Dubai Air Navigation Services at Dubai International Airport and Al Maktoum International Airport, and to ensure superior operational efficiency and continuity of service, in accordance with the latest technology and international standards, thanks to the expertise of the company «Serco».
His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed said: “We continue our efforts to provide world-class services to our customers and stakeholders. Hence, the extension of our agreement with Serco, with which we have a long working relationship, serves our orientations and plans, in terms of enhancing our human and technical capabilities and ensuring the superiority of our services. Mohammed Abdullah Al Ahli, Director General of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Air Navigation Services, said: “Our relationship with Serco is very old, and the renewal of the contract stems from the company's confidence in the field of air navigation services and the achievements we have achieved together. Over the past years, this has underpinned our drive to double our capacity to cope with the expected growth in passenger and cargo airspace as Expo 2020 Dubai approaches. ”
