It has been eight months since President Felix Tshisekedi came to power in the DRC, eight months before a government is expected. And it is in the meantime, in the office of the President of the Republic that he returns to play the role of the government, which is not the taste of many. Arrows are shot in the direction of the director of cabinet, Vital Kamerhe. On the social networks and in some local newspapers, the Chief of Staff of the Head of State is sharply criticized about the role he would play in the functioning of the state.

Critics of Vital Kamerhe are recruited both in the Lamuka opposition camp and in the FCC and among its UDPS allies. They do not want to miss any opportunity to get off the Chief of Staff of the Head of State.

On social networks and in some newspapers, Vital Kamerhe is presented as a cumbersome personality who has ancestry over President Felix Tshisekedi. For these same detractors, it is urgent for the president to get rid of him by granting him a position in the government that is in the making.

An important political partner

" I do not subscribe to this logic, " reacts firmly Augustin Kabuya, secretary general of the UDPS. For the latter, Vital Kamerhe is not a member of the UDPS, he has a political party: the UNC which " joined us for the conquest of power, " says Augustin Kabuya. It is therefore an important ally that can not be treated as an appendix of the UDPS, according to the secretary general of the party.

Also, according to our sources, ten days ago, Felix Tshisekedi, himself, strongly reminded all staff of the Presidency of the Republic, the important role occupied by Vital Kamerhe as a political partner .
