This came on the sidelines of a visit by Al-Zayoudi to China at the head of an official delegation, which will continue until tomorrow, where he met officials of the "Syntime" company specialized in the field of developing artificial intelligence systems, and using them to develop and achieve the sustainability of various fields and sectors.
Last July, the company signed a memorandum of understanding with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office with the aim of establishing its research and development headquarters for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region in Abu Dhabi.
The Ministry of Climate Change and Environment confirmed that Al-Zayoudi met the officials of 4 Pradegem Company, which specializes in researching artificial intelligence systems and developing learning capabilities of machines. He also met with officials of the "Beauty Dance" company, which specializes in developing smart content and artificial intelligence research.
She stated that the meetings aimed to see the latest research and studies in the field of artificial intelligence, in an attempt to employ them in the fields of environmental work, in order to achieve the sustainability of these areas and sectors.
During the meetings, Al-Zayoudi reviewed the Emirates experience in employing artificial intelligence technology, and its adoption of the Emirates artificial intelligence strategy 2017, which aims to employ these technologies in all sectors, in line with the UAE Centennial 2071, striving for the UAE to be the best country in the world in all fields.
And he touched on the state’s use of space technology to deepen understanding of the climate change path and its impact in the region by launching the first specialized Arab satellite “813”, which is currently being worked on by the Arab Space Group led by the Emirates Space Agency. It monitors desertification, droughts, and greenhouse gas emissions.
He also addressed the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment research project to map agricultural areas in the northern regions, using drones.
